Seminars & Affilliating with Seishinkai
If you are interested in establishing a new karate program through a school club, community group, cultural school, or other organization, please feel free to contact us. In addition to our regular dojo classes, we also provide seminars for companies, schools, and community organizations upon request.
Karate, Iaido & Kobujutsu Experience for International Visitors
We offer hands-on experience seminars for tourists visiting Japan and students attending
Japanese language schools.
Visitors can also explore our Karate Reference Room, featuring a collection of historical
materials including pre-war karate books, martial arts texts from the Meiji era,
armor dating back to around the 1600s, and other rare historical documents.
Experience sessions are available in Karate, Iaido, and Kobujutsu (traditional martial arts).
Instruction is available in either English or Japanese.
Seminar Information
Seminars are available for groups of five or more participants.
We offer programs such as Healthy Karate Seminars, Women's Self-Defense Seminars,
and seminars for companies, schools, and other organizations.
These seminars are also suitable as part of employee orientation and mental resilience training.
Experience seminars for international visitors are also available.
For more information, please contact us by email.
For Clubs & Community Groups Interested in Affilliation
Clubs, school organizations, and community groups that operate independently
are generally unable to issue official rank certifications and may gradually
develop their own training methods.
Some groups whose instructors transferred away or became unavailable have
since joined Seishinkai and now operate as official branch dojos.
While Seishinkai is not primarily competition-focused, members are free to
participate in tournaments hosted by other organizations, including both
point sparring and full-contact events.
Many of our members previously earned ranks in other karate styles before
joining Seishinkai.
We would be happy to discuss your situation with you.
Please contact us.
Examples include Wado-ryu, Shotokan, Goju-ryu, Shito-ryu, Shorinji-ryu, Kyokushin, Seido Kaikan, Ashihara Karate, Shorinji Kempo, and many others.
Cultural Schools & Community Education Programs
If you are planning to open a new cultural class or expand an existing program,
we would be pleased to discuss how Seishinkai can help.
We currently teach karate at several cultural schools, where our classes
consistently attract some of the highest enrollment numbers.
Friendly instruction and enjoyable training are key factors in building
successful, growing classes.
