Kiyota-ku Hiraoka Karate Club・Seishinkai Hiraoka Branch

The Thursday class began at Hiraoka Children's Center in March 2010, while the Tuesday class started at a neighborhood community center in September 2016 at the request of the local residents' association. The Tuesday class later moved to its current location at Club House Platz. In April 2020, the classes were being held at two separate venues. However, because the venues were close to each other and the children's center stopped allowing outside groups to use its facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Thursday class was moved to Club House Platz. The two classes now operate there on separate days. Both classes are primarily focused on junior students, but the Tuesday class is scheduled earlier to make it easier for preschool children and younger elementary school students to participate. We especially welcome families participating together, as well as students in our senior class. While many dojos operate much like an extension of traditional school sports clubs, our aim is to provide karate as a form of healthy physical activity, creating a relaxed, club-like environment where everyone can enjoy practicing and learning together.

※In some classes, preschool children are asked to participate together with a parent.

※ Black belt members from the adult division participate on a rotating basis.
