Atsubetsu-ku Aoba Karate Class – Seishinkai Aoba Branch (tentative name)

The Aoba Karate Class began in December 2011 as a kids' and junior karate program. It later operated as the Atsubetsu-Minami Branch (at the Atsubetsu-Minami District Center) due to venue circumstances, but is now preparing to reopen as the Aoba Branch. Since the class centers on kids' karate, junior karate, and parent-and-child karate, we are planning to reopen on either a Saturday or Sunday. While many dojos feel like an extension of a school sports club, we aim to make training feel more like a relaxed circle activity — enjoying karate as a way to build health and fitness while still learning its true spirit. We are currently recruiting participants and hope to begin once 5 people have joined.

*Until the Aoba Branch officially starts, prospective participants can try a class at the Momijidai Branch or the Atsubetsu-Minami Branch.
